OUR STORY

When we envisioned opening the barbershop, we wanted to open a place where everyone can come and relax while getting their haircut. We wanted our guest to have good conversations with our barbers and staff and just feel comfortable in their surroundings, just like they would on an island. Coming from a Caribbean background, the name “Island Fades” fit perfect for us.

Island Fades was born and we opened our doors to the public on October 21, 2019. We started to serve the community with decent priced quality cuts and fades. Immediately, we started to see repeat customers and received great reviews. People from all over the GTA and visitors visiting our city have graced our barbershop with their presence and have returned several times.

We are aiming to be the best barbershop on the Danforth. We have many plans for the future to shake things up in the barbershop industry. Stay tuned, there are lots to come!
